Michelin released its 2025 guide for Colorado this week, and several new restaurants were added to the prestigious list.
This is Michelin’s third year in the Centennial State, awarding stars and other accolades to eateries in Denver, Boulder, Aspen, Beaver Creek and Vail. In the 2025 guide, Colorado got its first two-star restaurant, plus three new one-star locations.
“Colorado’s delicious restaurant scene only continues growing stronger, and with the addition of the MICHELIN guide in Colorado, I expect even more excitement around our incredible restaurants,” says Jared Polis, governor of Colorado. “Our favorite restaurants are the heart of our communities and important job creators and this celebration will strengthen the entire restaurant industry.”
The Wolf’s Tailor in Denver is the first restaurant in the state to earn two Michelin stars. Kizaki, Margot and Mezcaleria Alma, all located in Denver, are the three new spots to earn one star.

Michelin also recognized one new Bib Gourmand restaurant, Cozobi Fonda Fina in Boulder, as well as three new Recommended restaurants and four Special Awards. The three new Recommended restaurants are Alteño, Ukiyo and Wildflower, all located in Denver. The four new Special Awards are:
- Michelin Exceptional Cocktails Award: Dustin Lawlor, Hop Alley
- Michelin Sommelier Award: Nick Heilman, Bosq
- Michelin Outstanding Service Award: Heather Morrison, Olivia
- Michelin Young Chef Award: Aiden Tibbetts, Wildflower
