Denver’s dining scene is outstanding and people are starting to take notice.

The city’s chefs, restaurants and sommeliers regularly receive nods from the James Beard Foundation. And, in the summer of 2023, when Michelin created its first guide to Colorado, multiple Denver restaurants got coveted stars, green stars and recommendations. Three Denver restaurants received one star from Michelin Brutø, Beckon and  The Wolf’s Tailor  and they’re all worth the splurge.

During the summer months, Denver also has numerous farmers markets, which are brimming with fresh produce and artisanal products created by local makers. A few favorites include the City Park Farmers Market, the Highlands Square Farmers Market and the Union Station Farmers Market.

If you’re looking for something casual and quick (with a side of great people-watching!), visit one of the many food halls sprinkled throughout the Denver metro area, like The Source and Avanti. Also be sure to order a flight of refreshing craft beer at breweries in the Mile High City, including Comrade, Our Mutual Friend and Luki.

For craft cocktails, visit trendy spots like Adrift TikiBar, Room for Milly and Death & Co. Denver, where experienced mixologists sling creative drinks (both with and without booze).

Sometimes you just want pizza... a steak, sushi, or a burger.
