The Best 2025 Beer Festivals and Events in Denver and Beyond

Facebook

There are more than 400 craft breweries in Colorado—which might be overwhelming for some beer drinkers. After all, how can you possibly try all of Colorado’s breweries when there are literally hundreds scattered across the state?

Thankfully, Colorado also has lots of beer festivals and events, which bring together some of the state’s best craft brewers all in one place. So, if your goal is to try as many Colorado craft beers as possible, mark your calendar for these 2025 gatherings across the state.

Rescue Puppy Yoga at Denver Beer Co.

When: January, 26

Where: Denver Beer Co., 1695 Platte St., Denver

Beer is great on its own. But add puppies and yoga to the mix? That’s a recipe for success. Classes include a free round of Denver Beer Co.’s sparkling hop water, a 45-minute yoga session and a chance to fill out an adoption application for a pup in attendance.

If you can’t make this one, Denver Beer Co. has a full line-up of fun events—including a Beer, Bacon & Coffee Fest at all five of its taprooms on February 22.

UllrGrass Beer Festival

When: February 1

Where: Parfet Park, 719 10th St., Golden

We can’t really think of a better combination than beer and music. But if you throw in being outdoors in one of the most beautiful spots on the Front Range, well, that’s even better. Enjoy all that and more at the UllrGrass Beer Festival, which is part of the broader multi-day UllrGrass Festival in Golden. (This beloved annual event celebrates Ullr, the Norse god of snow and winter.) Along with beers and ciders, patrons can expect bluegrass, newgrass, funk and jam-band musical acts. And yes, you read it right, it’s in February. In other words, jackets are not optional.

WeldWerks Invitational

When: February 8

Where: DoubleTree by Hilton Greeley at Lincoln Park, 919 7th St., Greeley

Back after a brief hiatus and just in time to celebrate the brewery’s 10-year anniversary is the Weldwerks Invitational. Over 40 breweries from Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, California and beyond will be in attendance, pouring their most delicious brews during two, three-hour sessions. Prospective guests can check out the pour list online. And if you head to the WeldWerks taproom the day before, you can enjoy pinball and beer from Trillium, Other Half and other guest breweries.

But for a more relaxed experience, check out the VIP option which gets you in an hour and half before everyone else. Look for sips from Cohesion Brewing Co., Grüvi, New Terrain and many more producers.

Collaboration Fest

When: April 19, 2025

Where: The Westin Westminster, 10600 Westminster Blvd, Westminster

A blue beer with sparkles, hoppy IPAs, chili beers, pale ales and more, all under one roof? Only at Collaboration Fest. Started in 2014, Collabfest celebrates the innovative and, you guessed it, collaborative nature of the craft beer scene. Walk from booth to booth and try more than 100 beers you will not find anywhere else.

Last year’s events included stein hoisting, live music, long dog derby (yes, a dachshund race) and more. Lederhosens are optional but highly recommended.

If you’re craving even more beer and sausage, you’ll find lots of other Oktoberfests around the state—including annual events in Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Steamboat Springs, Colorado Springs and beyond.

Great American Beer Festival

© Brewers Association

The annual Great American Beer Festival (GABF) brings together breweries and cideries from around the country to compete in more than 100 categories (and 170 subcategories) ranging from the best West Coast IPAs to speciality saisons. It’s a fight to see who is the best of the best. But even if you aren’t an official judge, you can sip and sample to determine who you think is making the best beer in the country.
